Location: Summertown (OX2)
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum

Hours: Mon-Fri (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)

Opportunity:

An independent Summertown-based property business are recruiting an Office Manager to join their existing team of four.

Since their inception in 1986, this specialist in lettings and block management require an experienced property professional who can contribute to an independent firm boasting considerable local knowledge and a professional and practical approach to their work.

Covering both lettings and block management, as Office Manager you will be tasked with taking a lead on all referencing and tenancy agreements, arranging inventories, gas safety certificates, property inspections and maintenance repairs.

Your bread and butter is simple; you are the point of contact for tenants and landlords, ensuring the smooth and efficient processes are adhered to, enabling your colleagues to do what they do best. Any general administration will also fall within your remit too, retaining a focus on office duties, and meeting prospective tenants in the office for the signing of tenancy agreements.

Property can be a stressful as a landlord or tenant. It is for this reason that the successful Office Manager will be someone with a strong aptitude for handling multiple administrative tasks at any one time and who can display a high level of emotional intelligence to recognise customer and colleague needs and help them navigate the highs and the lows of the world of property! You will also need to display evidence of forging relationships as this will prove hugely advantageous to your longer term success (the likeability factor also helps too!).
