Sourcing Candidates

Once you register a vacancy with us, your consultant will search through our extensive database of experienced candidates, from which we can send through CVs of prospective candidates suitable for the posts that you are recruiting. If we don?t feel we have a candidate that meets your requirements, we will advertise your vacancy.

Once we send you the CV?s of candidates we feel would suit the role, you can make your decision with the peace of mind that they will have been through our rigorous vetting procedures.

We also offer a high level of service and continued support, well after the position has been filled, and we believe that this after care service is just as important as the initial screening process.

Vetting and Verification

At Orbis Search we pride ourselves in our exhaustive screening and verification process; with each candidate being interviewed by one of our expert consultants, to ensure that they meet our high standards. Full checks are made on their identification, passport or drivers licences and a minimum of 2 references are requested. These, and the full employment history, are verified verbally, as per company policy.

Whilst having standard reference forms, if you have forms which you would prefer us to use on your behalf, we would be happy to facilitate this.

Original certificates and qualifications are checked and candidates must complete a full medical Questionnaire and sign a Rehabilitation of Offenders Form*. Police clearance certificates are also requested and checked for their authenticity *.

Clients have access to all of this information before deciding whether to interview the candidates or not, and once a position has been offered we will process the work permit (if required) on your behalf at no cost to you or the candidate.
